Huawei P40 features a 6.1-inch OLED FHD+ display panel with a display resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is 148.9x71.06x8.5 mm in size and weighs 175 grams.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on top and is powered by the company’s octa-core Kirin 990 5G SoC which comes with the Mali-G76 MC16 GPU.
Huawei P40 comes in a single variant of memory- 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 storage that can be expandable via Huawei's Nano Memory 2 card.
In terms of camera, the Huawei P40 5G packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto f/2.4 lens. On the front, the phone sports a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 lens as well as an infrared ToF (Time of Flight) sensor that housed in a pill-shaped hole-punch design.
Huawei P40 5G packs a 3800mAh battery that supports SuperCharge 22.5W fast charging.
Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC.
Huawei P40 was launched in three glossy colors– Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White, as well as two matte variants – Blush Gold and Silver Frost.
Huawei P40 5G (8GB+128GB) price starts at EUR 799 (around Rs 66,500) and It will go on sale starting April 7.
