The Lenovo owned company, Motorola has unveiled its new mid-range G series smartphone Moto G8 plus on 24 October 2019.
In addition to G8 Plus, Motorola also announced the global debut of Motorola One Macro in Brazil.
Further, Moto hasn't stopped adding the smartphones in the 2019 device portfolio. Motorola has expanded its family by launching Moto G6 Play and E6 Play alongside Moto G8 Plus and Moto One Macro.
The dual SIM Moto G8 plus smartphone features 6.3-inches FHD+ (1080x2280 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and 400 PPI pixel density.
Going to the internals, Moto G8 Plus has Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Phone's onboard storage can be expandable via microSD card up to 512GB but at the cost of dual SIM functionality.
On the Software side, Moto G8 Plus runs on Android 9 pie and comes with a promise of an assured upgrade to Android 10.
Upfront, Moto G8 plus has small waterdrop notch for 25MP selfie camera.
On the backside, the phone has triple cameras that include 48MP (f/1.79) primary camera with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, 16MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera with 117-degrees FoV, and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
Also, it has a fingerprint reader with a Moto logo on the rear side.
Moto G8 Plus packs 4,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging with 15W TurboPower charger in the box.
Moto G8 Plus was launched in two variants of colors that include Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink.
Moto G8 Plus(4GB+64GB) has been price at €269/£232/INR 13,999 and the first sale will start from 12 pm (noon) IST October 29 via Flipkart in India.
