Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was launched on 16 October 2019 along with Redmi Note 8 pro.
It will go for a first sale on October 21 in India via Amazon.in, mi home stores and mi.com. Later it will be available in offline sores.
The Redmi Note 8 has 6.30 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with waterdrop style notch, the display resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 runs on Android 9 pie and is powered by an octa-core(4x2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. The phone comes in two variants of memory capacity that include 64GB 4GB RAM and 128GB 6GB RAM. Also, it offers a micro SD card slot to expand the memory upto 512GB.
In terms of camera, it sports 13MP front-facing camera and consists of four rear cameras including 48MP main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 120-degree FOV and f/2.2 aperture, 2MP dedicated macro camera and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, the battery capacity is 4000mAh and supports fast charging.
The Phone's Network Connectivity options are similar to Redmi Note 7 that include GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi Direct. There are multiple Sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, digital compass, and a rear fingerprint sensor.

Redmi Note 8 price in India starts at Rs.9,999. Redmi Note 8 was launched in Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black colors.
Redmi Note 8 with 4GB + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 9,999 while 6GB + 128GB model has been priced at Rs. 12,999.
