After several rumors, Oppo has finally introduced two new mobiles to its mid-range A-series of smartphones. Oppo has launched the Oppo A8 and Oppo A91 phones in China yesterday. The Oppo A91 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
On the other hand, the Oppo A8 packs a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP main shooter, assisted by a 2MP wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera. It packs a 4230mAh battery.
OPPO A91(8GB+128GB) was launched in White, Blue and Red colors and is priced at CNY 1999(around US$ 285/Rs. 20,300). The Oppo A8(4GB+128GB) comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 1199 yuan (around US$ 171/Rs. 12,170). Both these phones are now available for pre-booking on the official Oppo eshop and will go on sale in China starting December 26.
As of now, there is no word on its availability in international markets, including India.
