Samsung Galaxy S11(2020) Will Offer Slimmer Bezels, 8K Video Recording, Director's View Mode

Samsung has been working on next year's flagship smartphone- Galaxy S11. There have been numerous leaks and rumors surrounding the Galaxy S11. Previously the rumors suggest that Galaxy S11 camera setup would come up with the 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor which was recently used in Mi Note 10/Mi CC 9 Pro. Now the report says, Galaxy S11 will feature a second-generation version of Samsung’s 108MP lens. In addition to that, Galaxy S11's camera features have been also uncovered. 


Based on the current rumors, Samsung is working on Galaxy S11 cameras to include many new features like Director's View, Night Hyperlapse, Single Take Photo, Vertical Panorama, and custom filters. The new code in the Samsung Camera app's APK file recommends that the Galaxy S11(2020) would offer an 8K video capture.


In terms of processor, Samsung Exynos 990 SoC supports 8K@30fps video decoding/encoding capabilities. So it is expected to power the global variant of S11. And Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 865 processor can be expected to power the US variants of the Galaxy S11 which is also expected to have enough horsepower to offer 8K video recording.


Meanwhile, famed tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the Galaxy S11 won't come with the waterfall display, but the bezels will be slimmer than the Galaxy Note10. Recently, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Vivo Nex 3 have arrived with the waterfall screen.


Samsung Galaxy S11 lineup is expected to arrive in three different screen sizes and five variants of colors. Further, the Galaxy S11 is expected to launch in the 3rd week of Feb 2020 and the launch event will take place in San Francisco.
