HMD Global has announced the Nokia 9 PureView with Penta rear camera system at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 and The phone was launched in mid of 2019. Later, it had claimed that the Finish firm will be debuting as Nokia 9.1 PureView powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. In October, it was reported that the arrival of Nokia 9.1 PureView has been delayed until the second quarter of 2020. but that didn't work out for some reason.
According to a report, the company is skipping the Nokia 9.1, and will be bringing the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC powered smartphone this year. The final successor to the Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to be called the Nokia 9.2 PureView.
Now the famous tipster Nokia Anew has shared the latest news on Nokia 9.2 launch details via tweet. The post has revealed that the Nokia 9.2's arrival has been further pushed to late 2020 as the company wants to launch it with the latest Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
As per the previous report, the Nokia 9.2 could be equipped with a more powerful Penta-lens camera system and it could be a 5G phone as it is expected to arrive with SD865. As of now, there is no information on the other specs and features of the device.
To recall, Nokia 9 PureView was launched in India in July 2019 and the phone features a 5.99-inch with 1440 x 2880 Quad HD+ resolution, 18.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is the world’s first smartphone to feature five cameras at the rear. The rear camera setup consists of five 12MP sensors with f/1.82 aperture and phase detection auto-focus. Out-of-which three are monochrome lens and two RGB sensors. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera.
