As per the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S11+ is going to have a 108 MP detector with 9-to-1 Bayer technology. One of the most trustworthy leaksters, UniverseIce has revealed this information via tweet.
In another tweet, the leakster has shared the design of this phone. The poster clearly shows that the Galaxy S series will embrace the design of the A and M lineups with a huge rectangle in the upper left corner.
Quick maths concerning the 108 MP sensor shows that the output will be 12 MP, but utilizing these pixel-binning, we might have the clearest photographs a smartphone has ever produced. The individual combined pixels will have 2.4μm size - undoubtedly the largest around.
Looking further into the information of the camera setup, we may observe the bottom shooter is actually a periscope-type camera. As per the leakster, the top sensor is an ultrawide-angle camera, the middle one is the main camera, and the periscope is there keeping them company, playing the role of the telephoto lens. We can also expect the LED flash and the ToF sensor to be placed along with them, hidden on the right side.
