Xiaomi's Black Shark 3 5G specs leaked, likely to be the world's first phone with 16GB RAM

With the success of the previous Xiaomi Black Sharks, the company is working on its next new gaming smartphone which is named Black Shark 3.

In the past years, some Android phones have been known to pack the highest amounts of RAM and internal storage. Recently, Black Shark 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and ROG Phone 2 offers up to 12GB of RAM.

Now the Black Shark 3 is also being tipped to bring with 16GB of RAM which more powerful than some of the budget laptops. Also, This upcoming phone has been certified by the Chinese certification website- MIIT. If that listing is true, it would be the world's first phone with the highest amount of RAM in the market. Moreover, the Black Shark 3 is also expected to support 5G networks.

Chinese tipster reveals some information about the pricing of the device. As per the leaks, the phone won’t come cheap since it is launching with 5G connectivity --something that may force Black Shark to launch a non-5G variant of the device at a later date.

Considering its predecessor, the Black Shark 2, was launched last year with a 6.39-inch FHD+ display, we can expect something with a higher resolution and at least this size on the Black Shark 3.

In terms of chipset, the Black Shark 3 should improve on the Black Shark 2 Pro which came powered with Snapdragon 855+ processor. The phone is expected to pack 4000mAh battery. However, Black Shark could come with fast-charging support.
